Welcome to Sunrise Fish Bar.

Sunrise is a family run business based in Spennymoor Co.Durham. We have been established since 1977  and have become known as the best Fish and Chip shop in town.

At Sunrise your sure of a warm welcome and an even warmer meal, which will have you returning again and again.

We use the finest of produce in all our meals, our chips are made from Linconshire Maris Piper potatoes and our fish is supplied fresh from Icelandic waters.

If your local to Spennymoor or just visiting come along and sample our famous fish and chips or one of our Sunrise Specials of, Mince and Dumplings, Lasange, Fried Rice, Chop Suey Roll, Corned Beef Pie or Hot Beef Bun. All are home made daily using fresh local produce ensuring quality and freshness.

We also have a wide variety of Children’s meals all of which come complete with a handy carry box, chips, drink and a toy. The little ones have a great choice of Fish Bites, Chicken Nuggets, Beef Burger, Chicken Bites, Cheese Pattie, Fish Fingers, Spam Fritter or fish Cake.

In September 2009 Sunrise premises were fully refurbished using professional designers and state of the art equipment keeping us ahead of the times and giving our customers a pleasant and warm atmosphere. Our Grand opening was preformed by local radio presenter Craig Beck from Real Radio pictures can be viewed in our gallery.
