Sunrise Is By Far The Best Fish and Chip Shop Ever… Cooked To Perfection… We Live In Southampton And Every Time We Travel Up We Always Get Chips And Curry Sauce Without A Doubt… We Always Compare Them With Other Chip Shops And They Are Bvy Far The Best

Fantastic fish shop, by far the best in spennymoor. We have a ‘Sunrise’ every Tuesday night with my brother and his girlfriend, and if the kids persist we may even have another at the weekend. The shop looks modern and stylish and is spotless. Would highly recommend.

My favourite fish shop in town and I always try to persuade my parents to go on a Friday night. Last time I went, it was lovely, but the fish was a small and was left hungry. Other than that, awesome fish shop and I always bring friends from my university to it when ever they stop over, keep up the good work
I want to thank the owner very much not only for this best fish and chip shop but also for his all previous efforts. I found sunrise to be excellent. I will be coming back to sunrise again.
Definitely worth a visit! The fish and chips are delicious….good sized portions and cooked just right. The refurbished shop looks great, the staff are friendly and the service is fast despite the shop being busy.

I currently heard about this shop and wonder what the rave was about so i decided to come and try them out I would honesty say this is far the best chippy I`ve tasted the batter was light and crisp the chips were firm and hot highly recommended well done keep up the hard work the shop also looks stunning.
Excellent, the queues say it all well worth the wait… Totally spotless, endless hygiene awards. Definitly the best Fish and Chips on the planet without a shadow of doubt!!! Always fresh, hot and delicious, food to die for…..

reading the northern echo review i must say you have to agree with it, compared to other local chippys this is by far the best, the chips are cooked just right and the fish is lovely, not greasy at all and what a fantastic job you’ve done with the shop it has totally improved the whole street.
